Games using the line drawing mechanic involve the drawing of lines in one way or another. Lines may be used to connect objects as in Sprouts, to isolate objects, or to create areas as in the classic Dots and Dashes, also known as Square-it.
Line Drawing
Some board games incorporate elements of role playing. It can be that players control a character that improves over time. It can also be a game that encourages or inspires storytelling.

Semi needed diversification of roles, a couple new maps, and a campaign that would be hard to play unless you have regulars.

Haven’t played this as much, but the new crew abilities and maps seem fun, but the campaign in my opinion is not necessarily conducive to the kinda game the original is about.

I have played Captain Sonar more than 50 times now and it's still interesting because the expansions, especially this one, add new material to change up the game experience and keep it fresh. I like that they have a diverse cast of experts you can have on your crew for a one time special power which can devastate the other team if used at the right time.
