Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Pattern Building is a system where players place game components in specific patterns in order to gain specific or variable game results. For example: placing chips on 2, 4, 6, 8 on a board gets the player an action card they can use later in the game.
Pattern Building
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.

A very nice light game. Just don't expect anything too deep. I really enjoy the physicality of building your structures out of the dice.

This is a fun drafting/resource management filler game. Rounds are short and quick and the way die types relate to scoring is really interesting.

I found this to be a curiously annoying game. On the plus side, it seems to be more complex and interactive than Yahtzee. And that added layer tended to encourage me to take the game more seriously, but when I did so, I found that quite decisively, my game results, whether I won or lost, were a direct result of random dice rolls. Better it seemed, to NOT take the game seriously, and just get in touch with my inner "Yahtzee child." But when I did that, I began to think to myself how much more I would rather be playing Yahtzee than this game. Not sure what I can do with this game except hope those who enjoy this game roll the rolls they need. Good luck to all of you! (I will be playing something else.)
