Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

HilkMAN
Mechanically, this is fairly neat, but it's near impossible to have an overview over what's going on. The color choices don't help.

No issues with the gameplay and the theme seems fairly well integrated, but the play style does not appeal to me. Regifting.

Theme bumps this one up from 6 to 7. The game play is interesting enough and I like the puzzle of manipulating the cubes to get energy to the right trio member to be able to play as many songs as possible. Setup is quick and the game doesn't take very long. Having played another couple times, the theme only carries it so far. A solidly decent game in the end.
