Initial rating (6/2020): 5.0 The core mechanism is fine, but the game could use some refinement. I liked rolling the dice to defeat heroes, using the accomplice cards for minor benefits, and upgrade cards for more significant powers.

Light and easy, and has a wonderful theme to it. Gameplay is pretty smooth sailing and there are not real 'down moments' Some of the villain powers and abilities feela bit unbalanced, but the games are speedy so this doesnt bug me too much. Rulebook needs a spell check

This is hard to rank. I've played a lot of these types of games, get some dice and push your luck while your pool runs low. And this one adds what I think are really good mechanics on that formula. I like how the upgrades work, and how henchmen work. All good systems. The problem comes from "push your luck". I don't feel like I'm pushing anything. Either I got the tools to keep going or I don't. Only like once was I unsure if I should go again or not. That's just odd. :) Really good tableau building mechanics :soblue: Not good push your luck mechanics
