In Scooby-Doo: Escape from the Haunted Mansion, players take on the roles of the teen sleuths and their courageous canine pal to solve a mystery! Work together to decode clues and find your way out of the haunted mansion in this co-operative "Coded Chronicles" game. Cool entry into the escape room genre. Highly recommend if you enjoy Scooby Doo or if you are looking for a little easier escape room style game. Still had some challenges. Took about 3 hours over 2 plays with our son working through the full game. Easy to pack up and set back up.

Ok, this is really just a basic escape the room board game and you can really only play it once as far as the mystery goes. That said, it is not only well done, but it serves to engage you as part of the gang for a whole Scooby Doo mystery. Not only is this spectacular for fans of Scooby Doo, but also a great experience for any one. Be aware that you really cant play just one character, however.

Not at all bad, but pretty plodding. You may find yourself inadvertently eating scooby snacks as penalties when you really didn't need a hint and were just being thorough as the rulebook encourages. It's certainly thematic, and fun, but it takes just the right mood to keep it going and keep players interested - lots of downtime if you don't actively keep everyone involved in reading the clues.
