I liked the cooperative play of it, although any card-based game will get a little fiddly. I kited both times I played, which seemed to be against the spirit of the game, but it was fun!

Cooperative, roque-like adventure card game in an apocalyptic world. What makes it special? * High randomization for game set-up (location tiles, scavenge tiles, characters, scenario and objectives) which makes exploration always interesting and unpredictable, however, may not always balance out well. Players have 4 actions each turn: * Move * Draw a card (hand limited) * Play a card * Scavenge a location + Artwork (kind of serious comic style) + Theme (zombie, post-apocalypse) + Components + Modular board: tile movement and exploration (variability, replayability). Each location tile has special effects. + Several scenarios with special objectives (replayability) + Several characters with special abilities and different stats (variability) + Stealth test to sneak by monsters in a location (dice roll / push your luck) + Variable enemy groups each game (variability) + Small box with a lot of game # Randomness: monsters are randomly spawned (dice rolls), ambush cards in scavenge decks # Rule book is okay - Set-up takes a long time (sorting cards, set-up cards) - Playing time and difficulty is very swingy due to the high random set-up Similar games: * Pandemic (more abstract, escalation management, same objective each game)
