Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Rating based on one 2-player game. High quality game for the price, bit of an initial learning curve but like most games you settle in fine after a few turns. It's generally a co-op but potentially adversarial though how much you can "lie" and hide your intention seems a little messy. The theme of the game seems more tacked on than anything else but the suspense is there. This game needs several plays to know the cards and what you could do with them. It seems hard to win since healing is rare (we were both witnesses and made it to the final few road spots before dying). Be interested to try where one of us is an assassin and also the 3-player mode and with the add-on decks. My overall feeling is this won't hit the table often but it still fills a unique space amidst my collection so I will hold onto it.

Pues me ha gustado, me gusta esa paranoia de siendo testigo, no saber si tu "compañero" rema contigo o no. No le diría que no a otra partida.

Chels: 5 Ant: 4 Evocative theme and artwork, but the game doesn't hold tension through the entire game - it's a bad co-op game, and you can figure out where everyone stands by about halfway through. It might come to life more on multiple plays or with expansions, but it's not worth it for us. Given to Friends 10/28/23
