Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

It’s a good solo/coop experience for Dice Throne enthusiasts. I like the head to head play more but this is good for those interested in something different. The components and extra characters are great. I do like adding loot/modifying a character’s deck during campaign play. The play itself felt a little repetitive and seems to favor defensive characters. Essentially it’s move, explore, fight a minion. I would of liked to see more exploration or other options. It’s also a chore to setup, where the 1v1 is super simple to setup. My opinion could change with more plays as I explore the other scenarios. For now this is where it sits.

Just got my all in KS version. I am a big fan of Chip Theory games due to their quality and lore. This game maybe exceeds quality. Beautiful game, everything is thought out so as everything fits in the box perfectly; a secure spot for every little piece. I am pretty sure the retail version is the same quality. It's a must but if you are looking at these reviews and interested, have at it.

Campaign for the dice chucking game Dice Throne. Interesting double-mode of dungeon delving interspersed with Boss battles. Thus far, we find it as much fun as head-to-head battles but the character evolution is slow and uninspiring. Boss battle is extremely difficult.
