I hoped to love this game. The production is awesome, there is so much pleasure in using the components of this game. Passing the first boss for the first time offered a great filling. Yet, after the first boss, you have to explore again and fight new monsters. And after the second boss, again new small fights in the maze. I think my biggest disappointment is in the exploration, you are sure that you will encounter a minion every step you make. This made the game repetitive and too long for what it has to offer in my taste. I finished the campaign once but I don't have the courage to go back in.

This adds a great twist to an already great game. The dungeon portion I do enjoy even though it almost feels out of place. I'm not typically a dungeon crawl fan but I do enjoy this one. The high light is definitely the boss fights which is great because the system for the boss turns is very easy to use. The upgrades are always exciting to get and really helps build your character throughout the campaign.

The mechanics are simple but I still really like this game (Legendary Bundle). PRO: - Top production value - One of my best looking games on the table - Prepainted miniatures are looking great - The inserts are well handled - Some randomness with dice manipulation - Real coop CON: - The own hero sleeves are bad (glossy material with pointy corners - hard to shuffle) - There are no official sleeves for minions/scenario cards - Some minion behaviours are unimaginative and samey - Damage types are confusing the first time MIXED: - Replayability (we will see)
