Arkham Horror: Edge of the Earth – Campaign Expansion
45m - 180m

Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Some board games incorporate elements of role playing. It can be that players control a character that improves over time. It can also be a game that encourages or inspires storytelling.

Solid, a bit bland and linear. Shines most with To The Forbidden Peaks and the new partners. Would rank it sixth out of seven Arkham Horror LCG campaigns. True Solo ☠

WUK! WUK! WUK! Solid, thematic scenarios all round with some innovative ideas. A gimmick of this cycle are the Partner assets which provide some boon to the investigators, making the campaign easier in general. This is probably very helpful to those with a smaller card pool. What wasn't all that great is the amount of story, especially Partner-related stories that I found quite meh and which got in the way of the overall story/atmosphere.

Only played the first scenario so far, but WOW, it was fun. Really high hopes for the rest of the campaign. Update: We're about 2/3 of the way through the campaign and it is still good.
