Arkham Horror: Edge of the Earth – Campaign Expansion
45m - 180m

Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Some board games incorporate elements of role playing. It can be that players control a character that improves over time. It can also be a game that encourages or inspires storytelling.

The overall premise of this campaign is my favorite so far. I love the partners and the narrative they create. The scenarios themselves are mostly bland and or mechanically uninteresting. It’s still Arkham, and I look forward to playing it, but I rate this below Innsmouth (my favorite), Dunwich, Carcosa, and Scarlet Keys in that order.

7.0/10 - Ice and Death, Part I 6.0/10 - Ice and Death, Part II 6.0/10 - Ice and Death, Part III 9.0/10 - To the Forbidden Peaks 8.0/10 - City of the Elder Things

First Full Arkham Campain and it was a blast. The Arctic Narrative is brilliant. Scenario 1 and 4 are hugh and in some part complex. Scenario 2 and 3 are more straight forward. All are well designed. The difficulty is perfect for true-solo player with a limited card pool compared to the Core-Campain. This was great for a beginner.
