Adrift was a bit of a nice "reset" box as someone at least steeped in the genre. I quite enjoyed my time with it and feel it was well worth the purchase. The puzzles themselves are - generally - on the easier side, and when you factor in the sublime production values of the artwork and components this is truly a fantastic introduction for someone less familiar. It gets a 9 because my sole complaint is that it feels like it's missing a "last hurrah" as a design. The puzzles are designed to be solved sequentially, with one answer informing the next in a set of four different lines, and I wish they all together had you solve one final puzzle. It would have been a nice, thematic capstone to the box and put a true end to the sequence which is otherwise solvable in whatever order you choose.

very good puzzle game, amazing production quality, but a bit easier and shorter than the previous ones from the same publisher, maybe better for 1st timers to such games

Puzzles were the perfect difficulty. The physical pieces had interesting puzzles that made use of their shapes very well. Although the modularity made it easy to start & stop a puzzle chain, I wished that it came together with a more complex finale. The story/"tale" was a nice touch. No legacy components means that I can regift this easily :)
