Get ahead in the Adult Industry. A card game about sex, porn and rivalry.
Run your own adult movie studio, recruit pornstars, create new masterpieces and spread joy to the world.
The objective of the game is getting to 4 awards.
On your turn you start by drawing 2 cards from the deck and then use your Pornstars and cards from your hand to do one of 4 actions:
Shoot a Movie
Purchase an Award
Outshine
Use Personal Skills
The moment a player has four Awards in their hand the game ends and that player is the winner.
If the Main deck runs out of cards and no player has won the game, the game proceeds to the Final Showdown.

A typical novelty game. Picked it up at a discount. Nice art (especially the pieces by Manara) but not worth the full price. Also, the package is a little deceptive by making it look as if all art is by Manara (but at closer look, it's listed as "25 illustrations by") Play itself seems a little confusing at first. Some personal interpretation of the rules is needed to make it streamlined. With 6 people at least, the build-up is still ongoing when the draw pile is already empty (and the "end game" is supposed to begin), and you basically haven't done anything yet. Might play better with less people.
SnakePlissken
An extremely fun engine building card game. The theme might not appeal to some (most?) but it is rendered in an ironic way and mechanically speaking it is actually a game with plenty of interesting decisions on how to develop your agency.

Surprisingly for such a 'party game' is the strategic challenge of the mechanic... if you expect a 'no brainier-have a laugh-move on, and get wasted' game... NOT in Red Light! But even with the triggering mechanics... I noticed that total gamer newbies can handle it. Even the graphics... worried about 'explicit content' are surprisingly not obscene.. but in a quite stylish look. The Milo Manara designs are well done, and every Manara fan..wil like them. For me it's a 'throw it on the table, and enjoy' kinda game... just make sure there are no kids around ;-) it IS an adult game... :-)
