Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Pretty solid and a decent amount of strategy and depth for a short playtime. The Garfield coined "Winston draft" at the center of play is intriguing. Still, it's a 20 minute game that doesn't blow your hair back and it's difficult to get excited over it or really push to get it played. ------------------------------------ Full review: https://www.miniaturemarket.com/reviewcorner/spynet-review/

Game was fine, but I was hoping for more out of the partnership aspect of the game. It's no Tichu. Just sayin'.

FIRST IMPRESSION: I wanted more from this partnership game. In the end, I'm not convinced this is that interesting as a partnership game - it feels more like a team game with each person just competing against the opposing team members individually. The partnership basically just comes into play with passing him/her a card. Meh.
