Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Player elimination occurs in multiple-player games (>2) when a player can be eliminated from the game and play continues without the eliminated player.
Player Elimination
Variable Player Powers is a mechanic that grants different abilities and/or paths to victory to the players.

Real-time confrontative clash of unique armies, each player needs to allign his strategy to special abilities of the army led. Rolling dice in real-time can be frustrating for children and some players but it brings a good dynamics to the game.

Scoring after just one play and only basic rules involved. Did not have a chance to compose my own army of monsters. What I liked in the game is real-time experience. It brings tactical game to a new level where downtime problems does not exists. If you think too long you are simply dead. But it has downside as well, as the game does not give a chance to make decent combo of cards. Instead it turns into fast rolling challange to activate your own dragon before your opponent will do the same. I have a feeling that all other cards are simply not relevant. Need some more duels to make a final verdict and decide on scoring.

Played 4-player, but without using the official 4-player rules (we played 2-on-2, sharing a common card display, and ended it when one player was eliminated). When we first got started, it took a few rounds to get the rules down pat, and to be honest I was expecting the game to suck. But once we got going, it was alright. The real-time dice rolling is not the greatest. The way to play is to decide what you want to do and then roll as fast as you can until you get the dice you need for that action. If you don't focus like that, you'll get slaughtered by someone who does. I feel as though there's a better way to accomplish the resource-gathering, but I'm not sure what that would be. If rolling six dice over and over as fast as you can sounds appealing, you will enjoy this game. Probably a lot. For me, it's just OK. The 4-player game took a lot longer than 30 minutes. I suspect that a 2-player game will go by much more quickly.
