Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

This quest is definitely best experienced in Epic Multiplayer Mode, ideally with the full component of 12 players. I have only managed to do that twice, but it was a hoot on both occasions. The quest is tough (but relatively fair) and very heavy on combat, but the interactions between staging areas are a lot of fun, as is the shared health pool of Annuminas. The first round on Stage 3 is just absolutely bonkers, with 12 encounter cards coming out in a 4 player game, and has always provided some incredible stories.

Great scenario. I don't know if I will ever be in a postion where I can play this with 12 players again, let along the minimum of 6.

Good one, I tend to like these standalone scenarios. Epic multiplayer (which can actually be played with a single copy) is where this really shines.
