Cooperative Play
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Games where you repeat an action (or part of an action) until you decide to stop due to increased (or not) risk of losing points or your turn.
Press your Luck
Some board games incorporate elements of role playing. It can be that players control a character that improves over time. It can also be a game that encourages or inspires storytelling.
Role Playing
In storytelling games, players are provided with conceptual, written, or pictorial stimuli which must be incorporated into a story of the players' creation.

I just finished playing a solo game after the family had gone to bed. Every time, it brings me back to days when I had a lot more time to play through a CYOA book or read through an AD&D handbook. I’ve played ETDC a dozen times (half solo, half 2-player) and I haven’t even gotten into first expansion yet (Curse of the Death Knight). Years of fun ahead with the chapters I have and the chapters to come. Thank you again, themeborne.

A quick dungeon crawl with simple characters, unrelenting foes, and lots of dice chucking. Nothing at all original, but it plays well enough. The dark artwork is quite good and is the more impactful for being printed on big, good quality cards.

Great artwork, plays extremely well at 1-2p. Haven't tried at higher player count but I expect it to be just as smooth. An intro game to dungeon crawling. Much more fun than One Deck Dungeon for people who enjoy storytelling. Got the expansion pack 3 with the plague but haven't tried it yet.
