Felt like it could actually be a decent intro to trick-taking because it involves no bidding (which is very difficult to do if you've never played a trick-taker). But it just wasn't for me.

Great art and production. I like the them and mechanics of this game in concept However there seem to be an issue with the exact value of some of the cards which tends to cause a stall out until the last 2-3 cards. Then it's just hoping you are in a good order to be the last person to challenge a card. This is due to the value of the 9, there being a -4 from the 8 and 10+ cards which can win the 9. This setup leads to everyone waiting to play the 9 until the end to be sure to dodge the 8s and 10-12 as long as possible

Art and production really makes this game better then what it really is. There is some strategy in the game although you are tied to your hand so having low cards usually means getting no points. I like how the cards have different values for scoring so winning a trick doesn't necessarily get you points. Rules on when you can play a card got confusing and the game is longer than what it should be. There are many choices in the game that you don't get to make because you have to follow the preferred school so I feel like I'm just tossing cards away. I rather play UNO than this.
