One player is the storyteller for the turn and looks at the images on the 6 cards in her hand. From one of these, she makes up a sentence and says it out loud (without showing the card to the other players). Each other player selects the card in their hands which best matches the sentence and gives the selected card to the storyteller, without showing it to the others.

This really gives the creative side of your brain a heavy workout! The cards are beautifully detailed, intricate, and open to many interpretations. It's incredible when you've had a card in your hand for several turns without any idea of how you could play it, only to see it become a perfect fit for another player's turn. Likewise when you see another player interpret cards in a different way to you. It requires a certain amount of energy or spark, but I'm yet to play this with a group that hasn't enjoyed it. Sometimes it can take a while for the active player to take their turn, and if this occurs frequently we tend to allow other players to step in and take their turn instead, which keeps the game flowing and doesn't affect the game balance.

A good game with beautiful artwork, but I find it too quiet and too nice for a party game. It's more a social activity than a game. Whether it's fun or boring depends a lot on who play the game.

One of those games you can easily teach to any one and MOST people like it although we have at least one family member who doesn't like it. It's harder than it looks. I always find it fun. As a clue giver, choose a card from a choice of surreal picture cards in your hand and give a clue - not too obvious so everyone guesses, and not so obscure that no one gets it. The other players contribute a card they think will match your clue. Mix up the cards and the other players guess which card was your card. Sometimes even an obvious clue will win out because the other players have cards that match the clue so perfectly. Fun.
