The cute theme is inviting and accessible, but other than that, unfortunately, these veggies aren't very fresh! Just another garden variety contract fulfillment game with a cute (for 10 seconds) drafting gimmick. I think contract-fulfillment is an overused mechanism & does not do much by itself for me anymore— but I may not be the target audience here. I can see young families appreciating it for what it is. My detailed ratings on this & more: https://boardgamegeek.com/blogpost/122324/new-me-january-2024

Quick to play, easy enough to explain. Occasionally made me stop and think carefully, trying to work out how to get the hype (bonus points on recipe played) to work. Enjoyable little game!

We've played more than is listed, but I apparently forgot to log plays. This is an interesting filler game that doesn't overstay its welcome. Setup is fast and the game is easy to teach. There's a few interesting decisions to be made in which dice to take and when to use your bonus cards with a recipe. I can see this being a game we reach for often when we don't want something too complex and brainy.
