In Evergreen, your goal is to build a lush ecosystem by planting seeds, growing trees, and placing other natural elements on your planet, trying to make it the greenest and most fertile of all.
You choose biome cards from a common pool to determine which area of your planet you’ll develop in a round. The cards not chosen make those regions more fertile, and thus more valuable. To create a huge forest, you want to grow trees, plant bushes, and place lakes, while using the power of nature to gain extra actions. Ideally you can concentrate your trees in the most fertile areas, but without them overshadowing one another as you also want them to collect as much light as possible.

Great drafting game. Fun and relaxing. You can score a ton of points throughout the game but you can also score a heap of points at the end if you were able to manage fertility in the zones where all your big trees are. The table presence is nice and its enjoyable to see everyone's planets get built up over the seasons. Game is a 9 for me with the expansion. Pines add another layer of depth.

An AMAZING abstract style game. Love the theme and components. It also has some really interesting end game scoring that players will vie for and manipulate throughout the game. Love this game.

Really pretty game with a fun mechanic based on the sun pieces position on the board each round. Pretty art, nice components, unqiue gameplay
