This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.

Half of the game time is spent in looking for the cities on the cards. But worry not: the other half it is not any better. Since no-one has any idea of where the other people are headed (due to map/card impossible to read at first sight), it is an excercise in nonsense.

It works well, even with 5 players, the interaction and competitiveness between players is high, and it is appreciated that the way to score is simple.

Fairly quick turns in this light "family game", but before they are quick you have to have a plan what to execute - and that can take some time - especially because the map and cards doesn't give you any clues or hint where different locations are. And THAT's a weird thing. Some "color-coded" areas, or ticket-to-ride -kind of cards which shows you the location of that city would be helpful, but now these are missing totally. Sure, I play it anytime, but it is far from the best Friese has designed.
