Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.
Pick-up and Deliver
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.

If the publisher doesn't think it's a 10, then they shouldn't publish it. This game is so unique. It's unlike any other game we have played. We are proud to be bringing it to the world.

Played online demo at TantrumCon 2021: Got to chapter 3, but ran out of time to finish. I really enjoyed it and hope I can convince more friends to play. Played solo games so far since it arrived. It looks intimidating with all the boards and pieces, but the gameplay in each turn is actually quick and smooth. A strategic puzzle at its core, you spend most of your time spending actions to arrange pieces on the board to satisfy conditions on your cards: then, you collect your rewards. You have some decisions over which rewards to take, or keep, and what to do with Evidence that you file. Some points are public, but some are hidden, and a bunch are determined at the end of the game, so it's not always obvious who's winning until everything is revealed. Some may find this frustrating, since the lack of predictability makes planning and strategizing difficult, but it also means it's never immediately obvious who's winning keeping players engaged until the end. The Corruption score adds a unique twist, combining tension and deduction, where each decision seems simple, but the way they combine at the end is the result of your overall strategy, which might have to change depending on what other players are doing. Not usually a cyberpunk fan, but the art is well-done and the theme works with the mechanics, with enough flexibility in how deep you want to get into the theme, or just sit back and enjoy the puzzle aspect.

I really like this one despite the sometimes unclear wording that's used. It could greatly benefit from a player aid that includes the special abilities of the different characters. Hope to be able to get it back to the table while it's still fairly fresh but my friends were less than enamored with it.
