60m - 60m
2 - 5 Players
Ages 12+
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
Player elimination occurs in multiple-player games (>2) when a player can be eliminated from the game and play continues without the eliminated player.
Player Elimination
Some board games incorporate elements of role playing. It can be that players control a character that improves over time. It can also be a game that encourages or inspires storytelling.
Role Playing
In storytelling games, players are provided with conceptual, written, or pictorial stimuli which must be incorporated into a story of the players' creation.
Storytelling

BuckRusty
Almost retroactively marked down 2nd edition because this is better. Much cleaner, less clutter, and with better proof-reading of rules evidenced. The setup is easier, and the haunts don't feel as hard to work through nowadays. Overall, an improvement on everything in the previous edition.

Rules are very unclear in places. The player boards look nice but.not easy to read. The omen symbol on room tiles are easy to miss (first play through we thought there was just nothing special about those tiles). Lots of token but you have no idea which you will need. The quality of the tile pieces are poor as most are warped. I really wanted to like the game and it just came across as OK. Nothing special. I'd like to try it more but I think convincing people will be a struggle.

Decent and quicker than the prior editions. Works well enough and it's enjoyable. Nice terror and replayability however the components...the player tiles are too thin Google AmassGames for more inc comps https://youtu.be/JpHf53GIdl8
