Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Desiderata
The first campaign I played. Takes off after the events of The Dunwich Horror (hence the "legacy" in the title). You'll see familiar characters, such as Dr. Armitage. It punishes decks that draw cards frequently, and has one late scenario that relies on willpower and another that requires investigating strictly via intellect, which can be problematic with some investigator builds (i.e. Mystics). But overall a pretty fun story. Don't burn through your deck too quickly unless you can soak damage. Take Charisma. Be sure to have a way to actually investigate using Intellect. Someone with high willpower will help in one particular scenario. Having a free engage action is useful. Or the ability to auto damage an enemy at your location.
