It was fine. I can see some strategy in it and it looks nice, but the cards sort of played you rather than the other way around.

Kind of meditative. Reminds me a little of Quacks. This one is more interactive. The arcana powers need reference cards. Artwork is really nice. They can make a travel edition of this game with flat cauldrons and a smaller box.

Maybe it was that I just couldn't grok what was going on but this game just didn't grab me. It seems like if the player to your right doesn't pass you the cards you need to absorb what the player to the left is giving you in their cauldron, then you really aren't able to thwart anything. Certainly a game that would get better with more experience, but I didn't see much here that really made me want to play it again.
