Maglev Metro
60m - 90m
1 - 4 Players
Ages 14+
This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.
Pick-up and Deliver
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

Maglev Metro has 52 cards + 8 cards in Maps Vol.1 (Expansions) sleeved with Mayday Standard-Card "Green" (63.5x88mm, MDG-7041, 100pk). Gold and Copper meeples are hard to differentiate, so used marker on gold ones to draw sunglasses. 2021-12 Bezier now offers replacement copper meeples, just pay shipping (US$7 or CDN$9) - https://beziergames.com/products/maglev-copper-bots #LetterM #Trains #Robots

Basically the game Mini-Metro in board game format. Fun ways to build your engine, pickup/deliver and lots of choices to make in terms of upgrades and ability to adjust your workforce and adjust your network on the fly. After my second play - it can easily devolve into a degenerate game state if no one goes on the "second" color path. We had a situation where people refilled early and then decided to do a bum-rush on the color that just filled up so the bag was 100% deterministic.

Go to place A pick up 2 people. next player in turn. Then go to place B unload the people. next player's turn... start again, go to place A pick up 1-2 people... in between you build a track or a building. And the other players do the same. there is no voltage curve in the gameplay. I played it twice and was bored to death each time. I like Istanbul, Broom Service, Lords of Xidit etc. much more in this segment.
