Ride the Rails
45m - 60m
2 - 5 Players
Ages 12+
This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.

Broken right of the bat in the initial auction. Specially for 3 players. So the game is randomly unbalanced at that point, and then what should be a pointless hour of a game, is actually 2 hours because of the heavy bookkeeping for a light game. Such a shame that a production of this level (gorgeous art) didn't get proper balancing and testing.

The lightest of the 'Iron Rail' series, but the game with the greatest depth (out of the 3 released at the time of writing). Arguably dull and procedural at 3 players, but far more interesting with 4 or 5, where the impact of each decision causes greater and greater ripples in the gameplay.
