Games using the line drawing mechanic involve the drawing of lines in one way or another. Lines may be used to connect objects as in Sprouts, to isolate objects, or to create areas as in the classic Dots and Dashes, also known as Square-it.
Line Drawing
Some board games incorporate elements of role playing. It can be that players control a character that improves over time. It can also be a game that encourages or inspires storytelling.

A little overwhelming at first but after you dive in (pun intended!) you will quickly get the hang of it. This was described as "live action battleship" to my group before we started playing and it's all of that and more! Very fun, very hectic. Combines elements of strategy with the hilarity of a game like Space Team.

Impossible to get to the table because of shabbos. But if I can and if it's the right group and we have time for a turn-by-turn tutorial before switching to real time... then it's fun.

1st plays: Even average Matagot games lately have been excellent, and this is a great game on top of that. The player counts are restrictive 6-8 is really where this will play at it's best, but for that player count it's awesome. The real time fits well, and this reminds me of what Dice Duel and regular Space Cadets were trying to do, only without all the crazy mini-games that get tiring after a couple of plays. Tense, fast, and fun. 2nd play: Played again, this time as a role I hadn't played before. I still really like this. 6 is the best player count, but I like that there are roles that can be given to lighter weight gamers too. Getting shot by torpedos is scary and this game is a great rush.
