Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

A cooperative deduction game. This is a lot less complicated than Sherlock Holmes. 12 Cases to solve.

Hand management card game mashed up with a storytelling and mystery-solving activity. The two form a sometimes uneasy marriage and I enjoy the latter more than the former in this instance. Still, a fun time with a different type of tabletop experience.

Very nice card based deduction game, matching symbols with cards in your hand to the symbols on each clue. Well balanced with ways to mitigate the random card drawing. It seems a bit long, but it was our first game. Theme comes out okay during game play, but wraps it up very nicely at the end when solving the mystery.
