Pretty interesting game, the old English can be an absolute nuisance since the game lasts for a while and there's plenty of reading. The scenario book is also not done really perfectly as you can see spoilers or where you should go pretty easily even though you don't want to. Would prefer that part of the game done as an app.

Playing through these with Co right now. Definitely not a "board game". And if I have to classify it as a board game, it's certainly a "Co-Op", but its more of just a "murder mystery in a box" - which is great, it's exactly what I bought it for. Crack open a bottle of wine and solve a mystery. I haven't played the first set of mysteries in this game (Thames Murders, I think?) But we were looking for something to do... Very happy with the purchase, but again, I don't know that it ranks higher because there's 0 replayability.

Played one game so far, we were too thourough despite figuring out the case earlier on. Inexperience we'll call it. Beautifully done and very interesting to play. We will keep it in good condition and sell it on when we are done with it, as we can only play it 10 times. No rating yet, will have to play more, but we like it.
