Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

This quest is not as difficult as it appears on first glance. Start with the tower that gives a bonus on sailing and carry on from there.

This one is difficult! Bring a lot of willpower, attack, defence, and healing... Bring everything! :o Cool quest though, pretty straightforward, very balanced. Wins/losses: 0/2

Quest: Another good design in this cycle. This time it's back to the seas for an epic naval battle, and this quest executes that remarkably well. Player Cards: A mixed bag. Na'asiyah is a good design, matching her objective-ally stats and ability, but not being able to use her resources to pay for allies is very restrictive so she's tough to use. Ioreth is the first healing card to give Warden of Healing real competition. Beyond that, there are a couple of good support cards and some cards that seem really cool in theory but have limited actual usefulness such as Knife Work or Justice Shall Be Done. Ratings: If I were to rate any expansions to this game in the context of board/card games as a whole, they'd get an 8, 9 or 10 because they are part of a game that I give a 10 overall. However, on a separate scale within just this game system, I'd give this a 9 for the quest and a 4 for the cards.
