Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Variable Player Powers is a mechanic that grants different abilities and/or paths to victory to the players.

Played with, some slight wear to cards. No box, but rules insert included. Will only trade with main box set.

Enjoying this AP though it is a little frustrating trying to best know when to advance to the next stage of the quest.

Adventure Difficulty Level: 6 A Journey to Rhosgobel Adventure Encounter Decks: Journey to Rhosgobel (29 cards) Spiders of Mirkwood (12 cards) Dol Guldur Orcs (14 cards) New Hero: Prince Imrahil (Leadership) New Lore cards: Haldir of Lorien (Silvan ally) Infighting (event) New Spirit Cards: Escort From Edoras (Rohan ally) Ancient Mathom (attachment) New Leadership Cards: Dunedain Quest (Attachment) Parting Gifts (event) New Tactics Cards: Landroval (creature ally) To The Eyrie (event) New Neutral Card: Radagast (ally) This adventure contains 36% enemy cards and 31% treachery. Some tough old favorites return like Hummerhorns, Ungoliant's Spawn and Chieftan Ufthak return while the new encounter deck adds a bunch of enemy cards that can only be attacked or defended against by a very limited set of characters. If those weren't enough all but a couple of the treachery cards also deal direct damage (13 out of 17 of them!). The Necromancer's Reach treachery card from the Dol Guldur Orcs deck has always been a nasty card with it's ability to deal 1 damage to each exhausted character. But the Journey to Rhosgobel deck adds 4x Exhaustion treachery cards which deal 2 damage instead! Looks like a tough adventure with a focus on minimizing/managing wounds on the heroes and allies.
