Co-operative play encourages or requires players to work together to beat the game.
Cooperative Play
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
In storytelling games, players are provided with conceptual, written, or pictorial stimuli which must be incorporated into a story of the players' creation.
Storytelling
Variable Player Powers is a mechanic that grants different abilities and/or paths to victory to the players.
Variable Player Powers
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

Well we played this on easy and won but I saw how quick things can go bad even at easy so would had to see what normal or difficult would do.. I'd play again but don't think it's one I would want to own.

I want to explain why this game is so painful to play. Everything that happens to you feels. The app obscures everything and the rules are so opaque. Shut Up & Sit Down said that in most games you can make mistakes and it impacts the game, but in this game it ruins the game. I have no way of knowing if I deserved the outcome of the game I had. Did I just miss something? The rules are so punishingly hard to understand it's very possible I missed game-breaking aspects of the game. Not to mention that (again, like Shut Up & Sit Down point out) I spent most of the game leaning over not making decisions. When I was playing this game it was fun. When I was learning it or doing admin, I was hating it.

Underated. It's convoluted and fiddly yes, but it's a great game and it keeps me coming back to try again. My go-to for solo gaming.
