Born-of-Ashes
Art and graphic design are crisp and clear, very inviting. The game is a simple area control with a little upkeep that keeps anyone from dominating too much in an area. It is very inviting for new players, but also stays interesting for experienced players to try new strategies.

I'm not exactly sure why this game works so well for me, but I find myself thinking about it between sessions. There isn't anything mega innovative. But something about the set collection mixed with the area control, it just begs to be played again as soon as it's over. I generally play with a game group of three people, and we've started to speculate that final scores always end up with one person way ahead and the remaining two people close together but far behind. However the most recent game had scores that were a little more grouped together. Is it luck? Is it skill? Still too soon to tell, but all the while looking forward to the next game.

Excellent gateway area control + worker placement game. Turns are quick and the play time is short. Perfect for our busy summers
