Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.

Very bland game. Pros: The artwork is great! Cons: It reminds me a lot of Tides of Madness (ToM), but ToM is a lot better, and still not good. ToM is shorter and has an alternate win condition, both of which work to the strength of the core gameplay loop. The rules are a mess and the cards are not always clear in how they work. The actual gameplay is just boring, you're simply placing cards and hopefully getting points, there's really nothing there that stands out!

The rules sheet needs to go into a lot more detail on how scoring works. We tried to work it out on our own (the teaching tables were always busy) and mostly failed...

A quick drafting game with potential but misses the mark due to a poor rulebook, unclear rules, and odd graphic/symbolic choices. Also difficult to keep track of the many cards with tiny print.
