Received today. Cut the molded plastic down and got it all to fit under the existing Wildlands insert; so it all fits in one box! I did not want another box for this game. Hope the upcoming board will go in also...

This new faction expands upon the Wildlands system in very cool ways - with 6 total characters split between two symbols you have a lot more flexibility, but your cards have half the available actions of other decks. Interesting trade-off.

Updated after several plays from 8 to 7 6 undead models are consistent with the core box, comes with an extra coloured base to go with the 5 in the core box, shame a total of six weren’t included along with crystal shards, however when all models are painted, perhaps there isn’t a need for bases at all. The faction seems a little slow compared to the other factions, in a 2 player game they prove to be a little too squishy and in a 4 player game, mobility is a big factor, particularly if you want to play delaying tactics to help prevent a run away leader, there’s little you can do. Using 4 cards to pick up a crystal shard seems expensive as you can only ever have a maximum of 7 in your hand, perhaps sticking with 3 as with the other factions may have been better. With the cards being a slightly different layout, it gives them a different flavour and feel than the other factions, however, it seems that they suffer if they have to go first or second as they seem like a faction that benefits from a later reveal in the opening turns. Yet to use the expansion as an encounter so rating may change.
