The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
Variable Player Powers is a mechanic that grants different abilities and/or paths to victory to the players.
Variable Player Powers
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

Interesting systems, but made for a very unexciting game. I found that most turns, I had one much better option regarding which row to activate, and then it was mostly just going through the motion. Game never got tense for me.

Juego que engloba muchas mecanicas muy bien hiladas, mayorias, gestion de acciones mediante losetas, ... y con un sistema de puntuacon muy original que obliga a no descuidar ninguno de los niveles de desarrollo

I love everything about the theme and concept, but I don't love the game. On one hand, the idea that you level up your basic actions is awesome, since you get more and more powerful as the game goes on, but in practice it's frustrating that every round your tiles come back randomly, which makes long-term planning near-impossible. The "attack" mechanics are also annoying: they don't cripple you but work only to frustrate your planning even further, which I just don't find very fun. I also think the game is a little too repetitive, since everything you do ultimately just moves you up on one of four tracks, which isn't terribly exciting after the 20th time you've had to do it in a single game.
