Deck building/Pool building refers to a collection of related mechanisms. Players have a personal pool, or collection, of cards or tokens, that provide different actions and/or resources. A subset of those cards/tokens are randomly drawn each turn.

Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Games with partnerships offer players a set of rules for alliances and teams. Partners are often able to win as a team, or penalties are enforced for not respecting alliances

I played a 4-player version of this unique abstract. It is truly about tactics - each play being important. I enjoy the bag pull for your choices of play and building a bag (or trimming it down!) is key to winning I believe. Each piece does feel quite unique. It's a bit difficult to see the cards across the table which can be important to understanding your choices by analyzing opponent's decision space. And the board is simply serviceable - seems like they could have printed the player pieces on the board itself? In any event, good game.

Interesting two player strategy game. Unfortunately the archer seems broken. Never seen anyone losing with it. The rest of the units are interesting and fun.

Un 1v1 abstracto muy sencillo de explicar y jugar pero difícil de masterizar. Algunas unidades están fuertes pero cuidado, hay que buscar las sinergias.
