Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

For the price there should have been more in the box - indeed if there had been less box, which is overproduced and supefluous given that everything can be stored in the main box, they might have been able to make it less expensive.

Played first two games and extremely pleased. Rules are easy and the possibilities of the game play is excellent. I will bring this to the table often.

Played once, with the Proclamation cards. After a while, War Chest will need new units, so it's nice that you get a few in this box along with the Proclamation cards. Those are a nice addition to the game that don't seem to broken -- just an additional thing to think about when you've got your Royal Coin in hand.
