    An interesting addition to Village. We haven't used the port enough to realize how useful each option is though. I'd like to play a few more times with it. The port location is nonetheless better than the previous travel location.

    Improves the game -- but you're still playing Village. That game just doesn't have the depth for repeated plays for me, despite how nifty the generation mechanic is. The Life Goals cards do not seem balanced.

    I enjoyed this expansion a lot, it makes the travel action even more interesting and very enjoyable for all players, not just the first to travel.

With Village Port, an expansion for Village, you now have the option of boarding your own ship and traveling the seven seas. Hire captains, sell domestic goods, and pick up foreign commodities. Send family members as missionaries to far away islands and dig up treasure chests. In addition, this expansion includes life goal cards that let you pursue your very own career, such as becoming a writer, a historian, or even a knight.

Village Port can also be combined with Village: Inn.
