Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration.Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

+ Each character has a different objective and a different way of playing + Players can choose the role according to the style of play he likes + This diversity does not destroy the game, it complements each other I haven't found the minus because I've only played once My first game played as Manor, who was in charge of making a ritual. For people who like puzzles, they really like this role. I think this game is better than Root.

Every player is unique but it's very whoever draws correctly. the rules can also be unclear and everyone's objectives is different. also is it fun?

You would expect Mysterious Manor to be a bit more polished than its predecessor (The Crystal Caverns) and it is although that doesn’t mean that it still doesn’t have lots of edge cases which require a lot of reference to the rules which disrupts play. You would also expect the designer to have learnt from his earlier game and therefore for the Manor to be better than the Crystal Caverns. I suspect it probably is but can't say after only one play of each. Do I need both? Probably not. Root offers a similar type of experience and is better than Vast so I doubt I actually need either of them. However, the design, ambition and play experience of both Vast games is to be admired.
