I have never played BSG, however both times i played this game i had genuine fun and an overall very fulfilling experience. The mechanisms are not the most innovative, the theme may have been there a couple of times before, but it seems that everything is very well connected to a great game. Also plays great with 3 players, something very important for these type of games.

Kind of hard to rate since it will likely play out differently every time. If the game reaches its full potential, then I could see it being super fun; on the other hand, it definitely has the potential to fall flat based on the randomness and investment of the players. It's been a while since my one play of BSG so I can't really compare the two. I think this version is probably streamlined and easier to teach.

A broken game that tries more force an extreme leftist political message than be a good game: +Good theme +Feels balanced -Character stories are complitely political propaganda -Endless skill checks -After skill checks, it is possible to track who put what card. This brakes the whole game -Too long -Lack of artwork This is basically intersectional feminism -the game in Arkham Horror's universe. So I won't play ever again. Buy another hidden traitor game. There are ton of these out there.
