First review (2-players): Ok overall nothing new but framed in a way that it does feel new! - My one criticism is that there is no real arc to the gameplay = made each round feel just about the same from beginning till end. You can build an engine with nomads that provide income (extremely important in our plays!). 6/10 After 5 plays: LOTS better once you can dig out all the subtleties and implement them along your strategy! 8.75/10

Feels like Concordia with dice, but nowhere near as elegant. There are just a few too many different mechanisms for what could have been a nice clean midweight Euro. The end game trigger of depleting the nomad stack takes too long, and it makes the game drag.

It's solid worker placement game although we didn't find the die restrictions too challenging most of the time. Players generally have several good options to use their dice. It's a bit unique in that players always pass the role card they chose to the player on their left so depending on what others use you may not have ready access to a card that you would like to use. Not a huge fan of the beggar which forces the other players to give them a good but it's usually not to difficult to work around or adjust to...there's just no other "take that" element if you will in the game and it feels a bit out of place. End game scoring is huge in the game and players do need to be aware of the nomad scoring abilities they have collected and play to those strengths to maximize chance of winning. The nomads that grant in game points for resources also feel quite good. I appreciate that goods accumulate at the trade locations and can be used to potentially block/slow this in game scoring:)
