Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
Games where you repeat an action (or part of an action) until you decide to stop due to increased (or not) risk of losing points or your turn.

Fairly fun. I wonder if it would be repetitive and simply come down to whoever can complete the most quests. Cute zelda/theme artwork.

I had to knock this a point because of the fiddyness. Normal tiny epic games I struggle with moving the tiny pieces on the track and not bumping it but this one had 4 things on the same track. Nearly impossible not to screw that up. I would have loved something that clips on the card or at least two separate tracks so it would be less likely to collide. It takes so much away from the experience. I gotta hand it to them they can really pack a big punch in a small box. I wish it was one size larger but you gotta give them credit for an inexpensive game that you can play for 90 minutes and have an engaging time. It's fun when night comes and you get to push your luck. Even more cool is getting special powers and items. Scoring can be tough depending on how the dice rolled making it hard to accomplish certain things. Lots of interaction with sharing the dice. Have me some AP at times trying to figure out how to line up for one of the cards while simultaneously progress on the other tracks like spells and goblins. Definitely worth the price albeit not my top 3 tiny epic but deserves a tiny space on the shelf.

Nice light fare, but would chose TEG over this for a regular to the table. Would play if asked. A bit fiddly but that will go away with repeated plays. The busy tableau is a struggle! The icons could be have been better considered so they stood out over the pretty pictures. I like pretty pictures but that board is a bit of a mess. It gave me a bloody headache looking at it. Despite that the game is 'fine', and fits into the TE mold.
