Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries takes you on a Nordic adventure through Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden as you travel to the great northern cities of Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, and Stockholm. This version was initially available only in the Nordic Countries of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland; a worldwide limited-edition release occurred in August 2008 and it has since been kept in print again by Days of Wonder.

Ticket to Ride in my opinion is the ideal type of board game that anyone can enjoy. It's easy to learn, includes a board, has great art and the games are quick paced and exciting. Users on this site are enthusiastic who enjoy deeper and more complicated games, but I think the TTR series deserves higher rating. Any way, this version is perfect for 2-3 players.

I have played this version on the Ticket to Ride app, and I really enjoy it. It's definitely not my favorite version, but it's quick and challenging all at once. I don't recommend this version for beginners simply because of how challenging it can be. This version may be the most challenging version in which to connect routes which definitely makes it less enjoyable to play, but if you're looking for a challenging game I recommend this one.

Despite the fact that this game is very restrictive in number of players, it just fit ok for lesser players. Why I rate it more than the Ticket to Ride Europe and Marklin is simply because I had more fun with this game, I think the rules are more condensed and the dynamics of gameplay works really fine with the great adds of rules in tunnels and ferrys that came before in Europe.
