Very fun version if TTR. Does a great job of adding another new variant to the base game that is very easy to implement to the game. I would say if not the easiest to understand, would be the second easiest new rules. Highly recommend. I do have a problem with the script writing of the city names on the board. Not easy to read. No one in my gaming group can read them without a few seconds of studying, other then that I love the bright colors and fun look of the game.

The Nederland Map Collection is a failed attempt at making Ticket to Ride a little harder: actually the beauty of the original game comes from its simplicity, which the tolls you have to pay (to either the bank or another player who built the same track as you before you) utterly spoil, as they put too much strategy and control into an otherwise straightforward game.

BGG Secret Santa 2016 Key differences: ticket values are inflated (from 12 to 35 points); unused tickets are discarded face-up, shuffled when pile is exhausted; players have a supply of bridge tokens that they have to pay whenever they build a route - prices vary from 1 to 4, and if a parallel route has already been built, the first builder receives the fee; the vast majority of the tracks are parallel; the only bonus is for the most bridge tokens remaining, and it's huge (up to 55 points); you can go into debt on the bridge tokens for a point penalty.
