Ticket to Ride: New York features the familiar gameplay from the Ticket to Ride game series — collect cards, claim routes, draw tickets — but on a scaled-down map of Manhattan that allows you to complete a game in no more than 15 minutes.

Mini, super-fast version of TTR. Has everything the original has, but with a tiny map and with just 15 cars: it plays in 15 Great introduction to the system for kids or true non-gamers. Definitely not enough value for gamers, though...

Fast filler version of Ticket to Ride. Fun two player experience. I can see this being a hit with new gamers/non-gamers, as even if they aren't crazy about it, it doesn't last long, and if they like it you can quickly set up a new game. We were in the perfect mood for this, wanting to fill about an hour and still get more than one game in.

Excellent short TtR. Plays quickly, smoothly, and well. Has the same drawbacks for me as TtR (randomness in train and ticket draws means you can just be screwed and certain track segments on the board are critical) but with MUCH less time involved. I like it!
