Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

First impression: played with 3 modules - the game is complex and is hard to keep the 3 tracks under control in same time. A lot of cards with too many symbols that need some other cards to score. No time for stories or thematic jokes. Rated 7,5 because is too dry in this formula. I'll try with just 2 modules and see if more fun and stories will come with this.

Very nice sequel to Last Will. The theme is, again, reminiscent of P. G. Wodehouse's novels... Mechanics are quite standard worker placement, and pseudo-set collecting. The twist, apart for the funny theme, is that you have 2-3 different parts you can youse to try to derail your life. You should focus on one to try to race to ruination (and therefore victory...), but often you need to care for the other parts...

Pros: +art and iconography +streamlined rules +fun gameplay +interesting theme Neutral: - not sure if I ever want to play with all 3 competitions Cons; -setup (large number of components and decks) -"Ms. Beatrice" contest is kinda complicated -number of actions with 4+ players is very limited compared to the 2-3 players game Philibert: 32,50€ igraj.si: 32,50€
