Pretty great new flip-and-place game. A little Kingdom Builder, a little Cartographers. The art is a turn off and the box is bigger than warrants the design, so I may not buy it, but I'd happily play it. Nice job on the game design!

Broadly enjoyable experience is its best descriptor. The accrued special action cards bring a welcome layer of decisions and some formation of a power arc. That arc is reinforced by the persistent pieces that are established throughout the game. There's also the right amount of tension brought by the limited actions; there's more you want to do but can't. Still, there's a bit too much piece manipulation for the decisions presented and it utterly fails in creating a lasting impression.

This game came outnof.no where. The entire time everyone at the table was saying. Wow why is this so fun!? This is stupidly fun, right? Went from mildly interested to I must own this game in 3 turns.
